Books For All

Found this on a general browse around the area and can rarely resist the attractions of a second hand bookstore. Here they have all the key features you would typically expect of such a place. Floor to ceiling book walls (and with high ceilings too!), multiple floors, and several rooms further divided by shelves up to ceiling level. A real pleasure to explore, and I think the 'way out' sign was only half joking and half actually necessary. They say you can lose yourself in a good book, what they don't tell you is that you can also more literally lose yourself in a good bookshop.

What a lovely second hand book shop! There's a massive selection with lots of specialist sections, all at a reasonable price! The staff are friendly and helpful, an overall magical experience. I recommend this book shop to all book enthusiasts!

Very cozy little bookshop in the busiest part of Harrogate. They had an excellent selection of psychology, philosophy, and occult/mysticism books (my usual go-to sections). As a result, I found a couple of real gems here, such as a “Hags and Heroes,” by Jungian analyst Polly Young-Eisendrath. Definitely recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

What a gem of a shop! There is a book for everyone here and the fact they're second hand makes it even better! All shelves are labelled and organised very well. A must visit when in Harrogate!

Great little aladins cave for the book lover, worth a nosey round you may find that hidden treasure you were looking for
