I entered this shop today and was totally blown away by the kindness and help I received. The lady serving was kind helpful and professional made me feel comfortable. I bought a hat for my daughters wedding. I would recommend this sop to anyone from any walk of life the treatment we received was beautiful.

I was looking for a Mother of the Groom outfit for our son's wedding but as the wedding is at the end of September I needed something warm enough for outdoor photographs, but not too hot for the indoor dinner. Julie Fitzmaurice's classic coat dress and neat under dress fitted the bill perfectly. I live mostly in Northumberland but travel to London a lot to see family, so I am familiar with Harrogate, but also with the expensive London couture scene. I had always wanted to try the coat dress look, so was very pleased to have an excuse to call in to Julie Fitzmaurice in my search for my outfit. I was absolutely delighted with whole experience from start to finish. I was fortunate enough to find a beautiful soft lavender coloured coat dress which fitted me perfectly, but needed a neat dress to wear underneath. As I also wanted to maximise the use from my coat dress for other occasions, I choose to have a pair of navy blue trousers made to dress down the outfit. It felt so special to have trousers made to measure because I am very tall and have never had such beautifully cut and tailored trousers. Gini measured me on my first visit and when I went back a month later, both the trousers and under dress fitted perfectly. Having clothes made to measure is of course a treat, but it's so important to support the tailoring and fashion industry and know that the cloth is responsibly sourced from Italy. Gini and her colleague Debi are very skilled and professional and made me feel very special. They are also good fun and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole process. Just trying to find another reason to return! If you're looking for couture, don't waste time and money going to London, enjoy instead a trip to Julie Fitzmaurice and treat yourself to tea or coffee at Harrogate's famous tea room.

Yet again another amazing experience at Julie Fitzmaurice. The attention to detail, in service, the choice of outfit, & welcome is outstanding. My mother of the bridegroom outfit was so comfortable, excellent quality, & I received many compliments. I will be able to mix & match this outfit & enjoy for many years to come

I had not seen anything at all suitable to wear for my son's wedding until I walked into Julie Fitzmaurice in Harrogate. The team there were very knowledgeable and "got" my style immediately. The resulting bespoke outfit was outstanding! It was classic, vibrant and ME!! A huge thank you to the team for their knowledge, understanding and for going the extra mile.

After searching high and low for several months, going into shops and being made to feel uncomfortable, I came across this gem of a shop. The minute I walked through the door I was put at ease and made welcome. My husband was shown a sofa and made a coffee while the assistant took her time to find out what I was looking for. I had no idea what I really wanted - I just wanted something to jump out at me and be a perfect fit. We soon established that I needed something bespoke and I was introduced to an amazing, talented lady called Gini. Gini talked me through the options and offered to draw me some ideas. She was patient and lovely, taking her time to understand what I wanted and measuring me very carefully. I felt completely relaxed with her and found myself building a relationship well beyond just a customer one. If you are looking for something special, go to this shop to get the professional friendly service it provides. So glad I found Gini and the team.
