Great company. My order was lost in the post. The team stayed in contact and made sure the item was delivered again successfully. It's great to have some good customer service. Our gift wrapped item is great too
Excellent quality and beautiful tableware and online shopping experience. I look forward to visiting the pop-up shop at the RHS Harlow Carr gardens in Harrogate when I get the chance. I am also confident the small maneki-neko will help me connect with many more customers at work. The Japanese Shop is one of the two best shops in Yorkshire (if not the UK) that I have come across so far. The thick ramen bowls truly enhance the flavour and eating experience of the broths, stews and noodles you put in them. I will never eat noodles again without one! I wish I could instil my own work with a similar degree of excellence and attention to detail. The shop does not hold Japanese stationery, however, which would have to be sourced from various other shops based in the north of England or London.
We visited the new showroom today and thoroughly enjoyed looking at all the beautiful Japanese products on display. We came away with some lovely additions to our home including this green tea set.
The product quality was excellent and the package arrived on time, beautifully wrapped. Customer support was prompt and courteous. I would definitely order again and will gladly recommend this store to my friends.
I visited the show room with my 11 year old daughter who adores everything about Japanese culture and wanted to get her first kimono. The lady there was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble and she was so encouraging of my daughter's special interest in Japan. Also came away with a beautiful set of ramen bowls, and we will definitely be back for more!
