I popped in to grab a lunch for travel. No veggie options in the sandwiches available so they put me one together fresh. Loads of filling in a generously sized bread roll. Sticky buns made with the most divine smelling bread, currants and soft icing which were too delicious for words. All followed with a rich and large cake which was moist and melt in the mouth. I was so full I really overdid it, but it was all so delicious I couldn't stop myself from eating it all! You have been warned 😁

Been coming here for over 30 years when I lived in Bilton and I still come travelling from Ripon since moving a couple of months ago. Also I can get Voakes sausages there too😋 Can't find anywhere that matches there quality.

Certainly recommend avenue bakery & deli, wide range of food products to choose from including fresh bread, confectionery, sandwiches hot and cold, toasties and many more. Amazing service every single time never had an issue with anything I have ordered. Mask or exemption is required upon entry and if it's raining they is canopy so you don't have to stand outside waiting in the rain!

Down side, the vanilla slices are soggy not crisp as I excepted also filling wasn't great either. The best trad pasties ever, pork pies are also very good. The bread cakes/barms/buns/tea cakes whatever you want to call them are the best I've ever had very tasty and very light 👍🏻👍🏻sorry cakes 👎

Just had the best sausage bacon and egg sandwich here. The display of food and choice is great. Definitely recommend.
