Plenty of helpful staff and quality stock. Prices from very reasonable to ouch! Nicely laid out and good old fashioned style and service. Smaller than Tunbridge Wlls branch but excellent as is!

Veronica on Yves St Laurent is exceptional. This is the 1st time that I've ever found an unpushy makeup artist. She was adamant that I was 100% happy with a product before buying it, and was professional, yet very personable. I will be returning, in order to build up my product range. Many thanks for being superb.

Sandra in the Estée Lauder dept. What a caring, wonderful lady. Visited today with my 83yo mum in her wheelchair looking for a lipstick. She took time and patience to try a few and help her decide. Noticed mum had dry skin so moisturised her face and hands. Mum felt seen. I wish there were more people like her in the world. As carer to my mum ( she had recently cared for and lost her mum too) I can’t tell you how much these small acts made mum and I feel. She was so grateful. to be seen, noticed and cared for; it meant the world to us. Thank you Sandra. Your dear mum would be proud too x

I visited Hoopers for the first time in 3 months looking to start my shopping in Hoopers after attending the restaurant. Further, to viewing the menu which offered light bites, sourdough toast with smashed avocado and, as an extra you could add a poached egg. I requested sourdough with just a poached egg. The request seam to pose some difficulties around whether the order could be met. I was told, if that is what i wanted I would have to wait at least 30mins????? I left and found what I wanted elsewhere. But what a disappointment 😞

On a recent trip to Harrogate had the pleasure of shopping in Hoopers...what a wonderful example of a "proper" department store...customer service excellent by all staff I encountered, but particularly want to mention Bev on the EsteeLauder counter, she did my make up gave me lots of advice and I was happy to purchase everything recommended. Looking forward to a return visit. Julie Smith
