Hotel Chocolat

Went to the Christmas chocolate tasting night tonight, and it was so absolutely wonderful! Ed, Bekka and Rebecca were so informative and happy to explain every little detail about their products. I’m not sure if they are doing any more of these this season, but I definitely would recommend going next time it’s on, because it’s so worth the money! Ate half my weight in chocolates and had to be rolled out of there haha. Plus they were offering some free drinks, which was a lovely break from the all the chocolate. Got a lovely free chocolate penguin to go, but I think it will be quite a while before I touch it, since I ate enough chocolates to last me until end of the month! 🤤

Peppermint white and Black Forest gateaux flavours are delicious. Shop was busy, but still got seated in the cafe. Staff are friendly and polite.

Harrogate is one of only several UK Hotel Chocolat locations (all in Yorkshire) trialling a new cafe menu of pastries inspired by original dishes served at the Hotel Chocolat resort in St Lucia, which incidentally is my dream holiday destination! I had the Caribbean chicken curry savoury pastry, and my partner had the Piton pulled pork one. For dessert we both had the Cacao pod-inspired pastry lined with molten chocolate, filled with Cocoa Whip and finished with a milk shard and crispy pearls, I had the white chocolate version and my partner had the dark one, both with warm caramel chocolate drizzle. To drink, I had ginger and cacao tea and he had a salted caramel milkshake. The staff were super-friendly too. Very impressed.

Went to the Christmas chocolate tasting tonight and it was amazing! Everything from the Christmas range is so tasty and beautifully presented, perfect for the festive season. Shout out to Rebecca, Ed and Bekka for making us feel so welcome. They were all very knowledgeable about all of the products and helped me pick out the perfrct gifts (and a treat for me!).

Visited on 6th of November for their after hours chocolate tasting, it was a wonderful experience, and the chocolates were to die for, my favourite was the hazelnut supernova. Amazing chocolate and lovely staff, there were there for any questions you had for chocolate and with the new velvetiser many lovely options. Would highly recommended to pop in and say helllo.
