Hamptons Jewellers

We were looking for an engagement ring, but the guy was dismissive and rude. My partner had some questions (because, is the first time buying an engagement ring) and he mocked him for asking this questions (like, he should know everything). Questions like how to measure the size of the finger, or about the stones. When we asked about lab made diamonds, he told us that we better go to an M&S for that. And that if we want an engagement ring we needed a real diamond, he laughed in our faces. Well, not everyone want to pay that ridiculous amount of money on a real diamond sir. When asking about the size of the stone, he looked at my hands which are a bit chubby and told me "You don't want a small stone on THAT". We ended up leaving on a bitter note, but gladly we went to another jewelry nearby where they were lovely an answered all our questions.

My wife and I were going to the nearby Turkish bath house but a pin had come lose in my watch band and I could not remove the watch from my wrist. The staff at Hamptons were there to assist in removal of the watch and repaired it NO-CHARGE. I insisted on payment but they refused. Very pleasant people and honest!!! Next time I buy jewelry, I will come here. Thank you Hamptons.

Not impressed. Was looking to sell a very nice Zenith watch. The guy was very dismissive and uninterested. To say he was brusque would be doing him a favour. Rude would be a better word. What a contrast to the other jewellers in the area who, even if they were not interested in purchasing my watch, were helpful and polite.

What a great shop in a lovely location. I was after something nice for my partner and the staff were very helpful. I spoke with a gentleman called Jeremy and he advised me on what was best. Very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend visiting if your in the area.

Found the staff, especially the woman I spoke with very rude when I visited recently. Communication/Customer Service was awful, will not return and would not recommend.
