What a great spot to pop into to grab a bottle for dinner or a special event Or to sit down in a corner with a book or at the window seating and watch life go by. My first visit and ended up sharing a bottle of red with business colleagues and friends and loved the vibe they have created. Also amazed at the amount of customers that were popping in for a variety of purchases. A definite must stop when in Harrogate or living in the area.

We hosted an event on Friday evening with Ake and Humphries. The event was in aid of national cheese and wine day. Paul Aunty delivered a talk on the wine selection, which consisted of summery wines that paired perfectly with ‘The Cheeseboard Harrogate’ cheese selection. Thank you, Tara Stagman, for assisting in organising such a fantastic event with me and creating a delicious hamper. On behalf of Howden Insurance, we eagerly anticipate our next collaboration event.

What an amazing place and what a fantastic team. I know nothing about wine and was treated to a journey around the world tasting lots of different wine types and flavours by a wonderful knowledgeable team. Lots of speciality beers too. If you like your wine this place is a must visit, if you like your specialist beers its a must visit too in fact if you visit Harrogate visit Ake and Humphris you won't regret it. Their events are informative and fun so give them a visit.
