Upon the grand occasion of its opening, the establishment presented itself with considerable distinction and promise. The emporium is of notably generous proportions—decidedly broader in its aspect than the Aldi situated across the way—yet of a more modest scale than the vast ASDA in Harrogate, to which many are accustomed. Of particular note is the price of petrol, presently offered at a full penny less per litre than any other known supplier. Such a boon to the conscientious motorist is most welcome, and one can only trust that this beneficent practice shall be sustained. The grounds are graced with a carriage park of admirable breadth, affording ample space for the comfortable stationing of motor-cars, though the acquisition of such a space, on so celebrated a day, is considered something of an achievement. Within the establishment, shelves are handsomely stocked, and the attendants conduct their duties with a most charming courtesy, offering assistance with evident goodwill. Despite the novelty of the occasion, the interior was characteristically calm, absent of any unseemly hustle. One suspects that the ample expanse of the parking grounds serves to maintain the number of visitors at a most agreeable level. A modest array of garments is offered for sale, though it is so slight in scope that one must question whether such a department bears inclusion in a market of this scale. (With a little fun with ChatGPT 🤣😉 but sentiment is still true 👍)
Nice store, new low carbon footprint concept. Good to see fridges with doors on and generally pleasant clean and new environment. Good stocks and range of goods. Nice vegetarian chilled section.
Mid afternoon visit. Space in car park and nice wide bays. Store plenty big enough. Well stocked and clean. Aisles a little narrow especially where stock protrudes into aisle. Friendly staff. Prices reasonable with a Tesco Club card. What's not to like!
I drive a 4x4 and this is the best supermarket car park I’ve been to, they have plenty of space between each car and no fear of doors banging in to you as us the case with some car parks. The store itself is well laid out, and staff are extremely helpful. I am very impressed with everything I’ve seen.
Visited second day from when it opened. Staff very helpful and polite. Lady at the checkout was very kind and interested about my day which is very positive. That's it of the good stuff. The store it's small, I expected something bigger like in York for example. Considering the grand opening was delayed, I expected something "big" Prices are up sky, asda, lidl, aldi way cheaper. Won't be going there.
