Fantastic location, with a quick walk into the town centre and near all the local attractions, for a very reasonable price. The owner, Stewart, was very helpful and sorted out (permitted) parking on the street in front for our stay and was able to serve a gluten free breakfast. Laid back atmosphere, with nice, clean rooms, and very comfortable bed. We were mostly out and about, so the room/hotel was perfect as a sleep/refresh pit stop.
Fantastic location central to Harrogate. Basic B&B but really good value with a fantastic breakfast included in room price. Decent rooms. Looks like a recurb done recently. Parking for 2 at the rear.
We are staying in the self contained apartment at the top of the building. About 33 steps to the first level and another 13 to the bedroom and ensuite. Kitchen has a hob, oven, microwave, fridge with an icebox, and toaster. Rooms are dated but clean. Bed and furniture comfortable. The owner has been friendly and helpful. Managed to park at back of building which has 2 spaces
we arrived 10 mins early to a locked front door had to wait about 15 mins for stewart to arrive (the owner) outside the door with our baggage. stewart finally arrived and greeted us and showed us our lovely double bed room (x2 single beds joined together ) not happy as there is a obvious dip in the middle of the bed !so made the most of the 1st night all went well until we awoke and realised neither of us slept very well at all wondering why we realised the main top pillow was filled with not a pillow but a single duvet on both pillows and the mattress was very hard and firm. won't be returning there again also the busy road traffic was just ridiculous,we felt breakfast was a bit minimal and basic hence the 3 mushrooms per portion
Lovely room, clean and tidy. Steward, the manager was very polite, friendly and caring. I'm definitely coming back next year to lodge here when I attend another conference.
