The public areas of the hotel were all really well decorated with a nice interior design. It was clean and there was a nice atmosphere about it. The rooms were also clean, however the rooms are looking tired. The bathroom had cracking paint and the grout was turning black. There were cracks in the ceiling and stains on the carpet in some areas. In the bathroom, also, there was no window and the extractor fan was not satisfactory in removing steam- meaning the bathroom became very wet and we struggled to dry towels. The room was also far smaller than expected, but there was adequate storage for our belongings which I feel is a rarity in some hotels nowadays. The staff offered a wonderful service and were very professional and polite. The added feature of a self check in and check out on an electronic device was helpful in removing added time to our trip standing in reception queues- a very nice touch! The added amenity of a bar and resultant downstairs was ideal, also. The location of the hotel is brilliant as it is only a 5 minute walk into the town centre of Harrogate. We had no problems in finding a parking space at the hotel car park, either.

Stayed here as we were going to the Knit and Stitch show. The hotel is in a great location across the road from the exhibition centre and closed to the town. The room was clean and warm. We booked a 'cosy' room which was quite small, would probably book a bigger room next time. The bathroom has a proper door! The staff were friendly but it seemed some could have used a bit more training. It's a bit odd the reception desk is in the pub, you need to walk through the pub with your luggage. There was a lot of condensation on the windows in the room, there was a newer window behind the the old one but one panel was missing. We were able to get food the first night, the pizza and cocktails were lovely. While we were there the fire alarm went off at 4:45am, we had to evacuate to the car park. I do believe the staff did their best but we were left standing in the rain for 45mins wondering what was going on as no staff was with us, obviously these things happen but perhaps their procedures for a fire alarm should be looked at. Overall the hotel had a nice atmosphere the room was clean. The hotel allows dogs, you can add a late check out for £25.

Our first visit to the Harrogate Inn for a two night winter break 17th to 19th January, and it was excellent value. The whole experience was excellent with staff offering great friendly service, excellent food, both breakfast and evening meals, and our cosy double room was just great for our needs. Would highly recommend and we'll be back in the summer to do it all again 👍

Hotel in a great location, right in the heart of Harrogate, everything within walking distance. The pub downstairs is beautifully furnished, we stopped at xmas and the decorations looked fabulous. We stopped in a twin room and it was plenty big enough for both of us. The room was very clean, however there was no fridge. We couldn't chrome cast to the TV and couldn't seem to get Netflix or YouTube to work even tho it was a smart TV. Nothing major, we just like to watch TV after a day of exploring. Breakfast in the morning was lovely and you could chose from the menu or buffet ( hot and cold options available) Car parking is available at £10 per night. Check in was a little confusing as you check in at the bar area, again not a major problem just something to be aware of. We really enjoyed staying here, I would definitely recommend to friends & family, and would stay here again. Thanks for a great weekend.

This is in a good location and the hotel must survive off that alone. There are many other hotels in the area though.. The bar area looks nice but getting served is impossible! I waited over 10 mins. Drinks are very expensive and the chap who served me was scruffy , loud and rude, very unprofessional . Someone else was in the queue, to say their food was very cold. Really not a nice experience. To top it off the tables were dirty! I get the feeling this place really is not bothered about customers in any way! We went to the Fat Badger for a few drinks and the whole environment was totally different, lovely welcoming professional staff, a lot busier but got served in good time and had a lovely time.
