Great overnight stay here, walking distance to the town, comfortable and clean. Great service from the owners, would highly recommend a stay at the Lodge.
Friendly clean compact budget accommodation with an excellent £16.50 cooked breakfast. Thanks Kim! WiFi was fine. Power socket not ideally located (had to move desk) snazzy bronze taps well designed shower. 50p charge for storing luggage.
I had a fantastic stay at The Lodge Hotel! It's easily the best value in the area, offering great amenities like free parking, including EV chargers, which was incredibly convenient. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful, ensuring my stay was smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort and excellent service at a reasonable price!
Ideally situated for town centre. Decor was a little strange, some modern items and some old. Chairs were a bit too upright and not comfy. shower was lovely and bed was same. Just frustrating that more places don't put king-size in as standard. Great that there was parking behind.
Bit worried about stair climb when told we were in the attic but managed it slowly in stages & room very spacious once up there. Lovely bathroom. Very grateful for parking to rear although on street is available at front after 6pm as long as you're gone by 8am. Great location
