Lovely service and rooms. Staff friendly and attentive. Room large and comfortable, nice bathroom and lovely shower. Some guests noisy but night reception spoke to them and quietened down after 1am. Popped into Dat badger pub for a drink. Very frieyagain, great atmosphere and reasonable prices enjoyed relaxing there for an hour after long day travelling!

Review: I have wanted to stay here for a long time after sitting out front a couple of summers ago and I must say it did not dissapoint. My sister in law and I had an overnight stay for my 70th. We enjoyed a coffee in the garden area under the heaters. Then drinks in the bar later and then dinner in the restaurant, the breakfast in the morning was lovely as was dinner the night before, the bedroom was very nice. Now the negatives of which there were only two. Rain shower so couldn't shower as my newly blow dried hair would of been wrecked, no shower cap which might of helped. In the restaurant we asked if we could have our starter with a drink while we chatted and decided on our main, we were told we could not do that as the chef didn't like it. That is just a not a very good experience. But will definitely come again.

We booked a cosy double for two nights. It was quite small but plenty big enough for a short stay. Nice big bed and a bath with shower. The only problem I found was the bathroom was a bit dark, as was the bedroom - no decent light to apply makeup. Apart from that, everything was good. We ate in the Fat Badger bar on our first night. We had the belly pork and the sea bass. Everything was presented beautifully and tasted just as good. Breakfast was a bit on the cool side - we were down at about 7.30 on the first morning and at about 8.00 on the second morning. Maybe the hot plates could be turned up a bit. All in all a lovely stay and we will definitely return.

The three bed apartment had everything we as a family of 5 adults could ask for. The spacious, clean and well appointed apartment was better than we expected. Booking direct was straightforward, and a little cheaper than using comparison sites. Daniel was very helpful in arranging room set up for us :). The bedrooms all have their own bathrooms. Unusually you need to access the bedrooms with your key passes. Great for privacy if staying in a group but unhelpful for us as one family unit. There was only one door stop in the property so we improvised with chairs and cushions. Magically the next day we had door stops in place by house-keeping which made life easier. We dined out for our meals so didn’t use the amazing kitchen/dining space. It is beautiful with everything you could ask for. Much better than ours at home to be honest. The small living room was not used but could be useful for some families. Excellent stay and will definitely recommend to families wanting to stay together. PS: the fat badger bar is amazing. PPS: location excellent
