The loveliest tearoom/cafe I have ever visited! I would highly recommend this place to anyone. The food was incredible and fantastic portions, and the milkshakes are to die for! I was given the extra amount milkshake to add into my drink as she thought my glass was slightly smaller than my boyfriend’s (I got another half a glass of milkshake from it!). The staff were undoubtedly the best thing about this place (close second to the food and lovely outdoor seating area). They were incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be visiting again very soon to try some of the beautiful looking cakes :)

We’ve been here several times and it’s always absolutely lovely, the food is always delicious - especially the homemade cakes, they are something else!!! Lovely coffees and milkshakes too and of course it’s always a bonus when it’s dog friendly, ours love coming along and they get treats and fusses when we visit. Love love love visiting this cafe when we come to the garden centre 🥰

We had afternoon tea for 7 of us, booked in advance as a birthday celebration. The cafe was busy when we arrived, and quite noisy, but with a happy friendly atmosphere. The food was very generous, with chunky, well filled sandwiches, enormous scones and endless tea. We were treated to impressive variety of homemade cakes that we ended up having to take home with us. Highly recommended and very good value, but turn up hungry!!

My favourite cafe. Excellent scones and coffee. One of the best ploughman's lunches I have ever had. We like to sit outside under the veranda and look out at the trees both in the nearby fields and around the garden centre. Spectacular colours now especially the Acer outside the cafe. Unique location next to the garden centre. A must visit for me.

We have been visiting The Cosy Tearoons for many years and have followed them from The Antiques Emporium to Dore Garden Centre even though it's further for us to travel. We look forward to every visit and have never been disappointed. The food is always fresh, tasty and homely with good portions. The homemade cakes are delicious and always a decent variety on offer. A friendly welcoming, cosy environment; in our opinion one of the best, if not THE BEST in the area. X
