Found this delightful little cafe on the route home to London. Really lovely and efficient service. I had perfect poached eggs on toast with mushrooms and a couple of Espresso’s to wash it down. Great value and you can see that the staff work hard to maintain and keep the cafe looking good and clean and tidy. So glad independent places like this exist. Thank you.

Very tasty food, excellent service. We were made very welcome, and our food - a variety of bacon butty, soup and cakes was well presented and first rate. Well done. Very clean unisex toilet too.

Been here lots of times and really like it. Food and service is good, very polite, friendly, the lady today was fabulous, and timely. Sadly the chips have reduced my 5 stars to 4. Chips aren't the best which spoilt what would have been a fabulous meal, seem to be cheap frozen chips. I will definitely re visit, but not order the chips again. Sorry. 😢

Such a lovely and friendly place, food is always excellent and very popular with walkers, bikers etc. Good outdoor seating too. I've been here quite a few times on my motorbike and as well as being set in a beautiful quaint village with astounding scenery it's friendly service and great food always sets you up for the day.

When it’s open it’s good as a motorbike stop. Tasty cakes and breakfast baps looked good. We’ve been through a few times in the last couple of years and it’s been closed more than open though, at times when you would expect it to be open.
