Needed tracking done on our car. They fixed it in one morning for a generous price. Would definitely go again, excellent service.

I was staying at the Hawes caravan site but on the journey we noticed the towbar had become slightly lose causing it to bang and clatter. Took the car to Dale's Garage and the lad there came straight out and had a look. He asked if I could leave it with him, which I did. Went back at 5pm and it was done!! All in all a very positive response and very helpful. Thanks guys 🙂

Stayed a Hawes caravan park and when I arrived, noticed my caravan tyre was flat. I had a very large screw in the middle of it. Called Dales Garage and although they were busy and not long before they were closing, James kindly accepted to repair it. Top guy and highly recommended... Thanks James

Garage run by rude children that don’t understand cars. Rang and asked if they could look at a puncture either for repair or ordering a tyre in, they said that’s fine, asked what time was best. Drove the 8 miles across the Dales to have the car looked at the time they said, got told they’re going to lunch so bring it back an hour later - fine, no problem. Took it back at that time and got told I can leave it until the end of the day as they’re busy. Explained I was told to bring it in at this time, childlike mechanic took offence to that and said well people normally book cars in - it’s a puncture mate, use your noggin, there isn’t a service interval on tyres. Said it’s not very fair to say you’ll look at a car at X time, then say Y time, then say leave it there all day when clearly people don’t all live locally and you have no waiting room. In the time they’ve strung me along I could have driven to another town and got my tyre done, but now I’m stuck in Hawes and need to get the car recovered instead. Mechanic seemed offended and confused at the fact I hadn’t rang a week in advance to plan my puncture in. Someone using their head would have just said “sorry mate, we’re too busy” and I’d have said thank you, no worries and rang elsewhere. The garage is an absolute bomb site, and owners keys are left on the side at the entrance so anyone can walk in and grab them whilst the mechanics hide out back.

All our family use this garage for m.o t's and repairs. We have never been disappointed. Reasonable charges for exceptional work. This business is an asset to the local area.
