They have what appears to any sensible individual a pay at pump card machine, but it's not. We filled up having put our card in the machine, but having not been asked to insert a pin, before driving off, we checked our bank and it hadn't been paid. In minute and very dark printing on the screen it had said to pay at the kiosk, but that was so indistinct to be easily missed. To vacate the pump to allow another customer on to the forecourt, we were then challenged by a rude, arrogant and patronising woman, who not only assumed and alleged that I was going to drive off without paying, but then threatened us with a debt collection agency and a £300 fine. It was never our intention to drive off, but instead of her rude patronising, if it was simply clearer that the pay at the pump machine was not that, and if she learned late in life some customer relations training, the experience might have been more agreeable. We do not appreciate her insinuations that we had intended to commit an offence. Oh, and for a community owned facility, how can one person regard herself as boss? Her laughing and patronising "have a nice day" just added the insulting carry on.

Great little garage, sells a few bits inside too. Only 2 pumps so you need to fill and leave asap always quite competitive on fuel prices, friendly young lad on shift on my last visit.

Canny little stop for a tank fill up, and tyre pressure check in our motorhome, bit tight to manoeuvre so be careful and consider others as locally situated near homes, you have a machine to put your card details in before filling up so not cash, it requires some thinking about , but a fab spot

American on holiday. I dispensed wrong fuel in car. The gentleman inside behind the counter, I never got his name but should have asked (I was there August 28, 2024), stopped me from putting more wrong fuel in and helped me to receive servicing to remove the fuel and get back on the road. Probably would not have received such excellent service in the States, and I am grateful. Highly recommend this establishment. 5 stars.
