Highly recommended. I visit the Yorkshire Dales a lot and make a point of visiting Cunninghams at Hawes everytime. The store is on 2 floors and has a meaningful range of outdoor equipment; their range of clothing and footwear is particularly good, of a high quality and reasonably priced. The staff couldn't be more pleasant and helpful (a notable quality of the Dales), nothing is too much trouble. I recently bought a pair of hiking boots, which the store very helpfully brought over from their Ambleside branch for me to try on. I will go back everytime. Well done and thank you Team Cunninghams!
Fantastic service and great local knowledge. Bought a map and asked for a little help with a route - the sales person was incredible with upto date knowledge and provided a fantastic overview of where we were going and what to look out for. We had a fantastic days walking and everything checked out as described. Big thank you, its over and above what was expected..
When visiting Hawes we ALWAYS call in at Cunningham's to have a good browse and hopefully /normally make a purchase. The staff are always friendly and very helpful and recently I bought a pair of leather Grisport Walking Boots..... they are fabulous, top quality. I/we would highly recommend this store.

Visited Hawes store today it was empty, I asked if I could buy the hat in the window as none in shop. Told NO, that items could not be removed from the window display ! No sale, no win, ridiculous !
