Set well back from the road in an elevated position at the Eastern edge of Hawes, Spring Bank House is a peaceful haven where you can relax after the pleasures and exertions of your visit into the Dales.

This Victorian property built in 1841 offers many original features and stunning views from the dining room and guest rooms. Spring Bank is a small friendly family run bed and breakfast, an ideal base for walkers, cyclists and visitors to the Yorkshire Dales, offering high quality comfortable accommodation.

Spring Bank offers 3 double rooms, one of which can also be used as a twin or family room. All rooms are en-suite with either bath, shower or both. All rooms have TV, alarm clock, hairdryer, hospitality tray and complimentary toiletries.

Ironing and drying facilities available on request. Laundry services are available for a small extra charge.

The breakfast room has a real open fire for those chilly mornings. Breakfast ingredients are where possible, sourced locally supporting local businesses.

Hawes is the highest Market Town in England set 850 feet above sea level and was first recorded as a market place in 1307.

The name Hawes means a ‘pass between mountains' and it stands between the stunning Buttertubs and Fleet Moss. Places of interest include the Wensleydale Creamery, Dales Countryside Museum, Hardraw Force and many more.

Looking across Town Foot to the high ground of Stags Fell, Spring Bank offers every amenity including private off-street parking, secure storage for cycles, motorcycles and classic cars.
Once inside you will forget you are in the bustling capital of Upper Wensleydale.

The property is blissfully quiet thanks to the solid Victorian stone walls with windows that offer enviable views across the Ure Valley to the surrounding hills, the Tourist Information Centre, Town Centre, Museum and convenient bus routes are only a short walk away.
