Me and my boyfriend came across this lovely B&B and decided to turn our day out in Hawes into a night away! Brenda and John were so accommodating and happy to have us even though we were very last minute quests. Perfect off-road parking facilities! Given our own keys to property as the door remains locked at all times which made us feel very safe, breakfast was AMAZING! I only felt guilty I couldn’t finish it all, we were made to feel so comfortable as though we were in our own home, would definitely recommend this place if your staying in the Dales!

Privately owned, but traditional B&B - indeed, home from home! Excellent en-suite rooms (with shower) - clean, warm and comfortable plus tea/coffee making facilities. Plus, off-road parking! Finally, I’ve found a B&B in the heart of the Dales, that I shall return to again and again! BTW ….. a ‘Full Monty’ breakfast is served here - so, you’ll only need a coffee & cake to ‘top-up’ at lunch time! Less than 10 minutes walking to pubs, cafes & restaurants for lunch or evening meals in Hawes - I would also highly recommend Wensleydale Pantry and The Fountain Inn, for a spot of lunch/evening meal!

Last minute getaway to Hawes so just came across it. The owners, Brenda and John, are lovely. Really chatty and friendly. They made us feel so welcome, it was like been part of the family. The whole place was immaculate including the parking area and garden. Fabulous breakfast. Thank you for great hospitality.

Spent a night here last Summer, very nice place to stay whilst visiting the Dales. Brenda and John are lovely people and recommended some excellent places to get food and sights to see around the area. The breakfast was very good and filling. Would happily stay here again in the future.

The three rooms are Homely and all en suit shower rooms with tv and tea and coffee making facilities The Breakfast is substantial and very tasty and Brenda your host is lovely The b&b is in walking distance to the Village of Hawes where you can find the famous Wensleydale Creamery and plenty of places to eat plus lots of places within an short car ride like Asgarth falls and steam Railways we visit on a regular basis just for a lovely place too visit Some people may find having no Wi-Fi a problem but it’s so much nicer to sit and chat to other guests at breakfast instead of everyone on their phones
