Winterhouse Barn camping

Tony and his wife are some of the nicest human beings I've come across. A wonderful campsite in a great location for the Pennine Way, thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Best stop off on the Pennine Way so far. I was in need of help to get into Skipton to get new boots and the site owner took pity on me and drove me into Skipton. Really saved my bacon. Site great and facilities clean and a nice hot shower. Very happy and appreciative.

Absolutely fantastic service for an out of the way part of the world ( unless you’re doing the Pennine way)..summer cabin has electric to charge your devices before the hike and brewing tackle with fresh milk. Very welcoming hosts. Highly recommend.

Good camping and lovely hosts. They even let me use their tin opener! Only issue about Cowling for Pennine Way walkers is the lack of pub or takeaway food on certain nights. I ended up eating rubbish from the local convenience store, but that's no fault of Winterhouse Barn.

This is a great place to stay. Right on the Pennine way and in lovely countryside. The hosts, Tony and Alwyn are very friendly and welcoming, nothing too much trouble. Nice clean accommodation and lovely breakfast. Really a little gem for a stopover or a couple of days exploring the area!
