Told the same as many below, had my appointments cancelled by the practice, had no contact or anything else so I had called up to try see what can be sorted, told I had been de-registered and there is no space on the list and they have 30,000 patients and can't contact them all, even though they have phone and text and email facilities. Absolute joke as I had been a client for 28 years, just to be thrown aside because they didn't want to contact anyone and they cancelled appointments and would not allow booking around COVID.
My Son and myself are NHS registered patients at this dentist. After today apparently not. Pre COVID I had check up appointments booked. My considerate rational and reasonable assumption was that as and when they got up and running again they would contact patients with existing appointments pre COVID and rebook. I have waited patiently. I rung today to be told we have been de-registered, no contact, warning or valid explanation. Does that comply with NHS's protocol to it's practitioners?It doesn't pay to be reasonable and sympathetic anymore these days. The terse and sarcastic reply from reception was we have 1000's of patients and can't contact them all.! Yes too greedy to provide a proper customer experience. What a sad indictment. Shame on you. It's not the poor staff facing the public to blame it's those who profess to "manage" on high salaries delegating. Enough.
Cancelled my checkup during covid lockdowns, then removed me as an NHS patient because I didn't rebook quick enough. I got no reminder, warning or heads up fron then in any way. I only found out because I called them looking to book an appointment in. They tried to tell me it would have been totally impossible to send me a text or call me before removing me. Said they would have to make 1000s of calls a day. If they are removing 1000s of patients from their books everyday, there is a bigger problem! They don't even have a waiting list for NHS patients now. I've been going there my whole life. So sad!
They have no care/sympathy for nhs patients. My sons haven’t been seen for at least two years. They had 2 appointments each cancelled and now if we ask for appointments there isn’t a dentist available.
My experience I have had with this dentist has been nothing but the best, been with them for over 30years and the staff have been fantastic,friendly staff that answer the phone to the patient dentist's. My experience with being nervous about going to dentist is not good but they are great with me,
