At last a dr that listens to you dr read is amazing I would highly recommend him .you truly feel he's listening to you and takes in what you tell him and he will do his best for you
Dr James Read is possibly the best GP that I've ever had. He has a calm, accommodating manner. He listens intently without interruption and does not dismiss anything that you say. Unfortunately, due to his popularity, it's quite difficult to book an appointment with him, however, that aside I have no hesitation in recommending him. He REALLY DOES deserve 5 stars π€
I have never known trying to see a doctor could be so hard. how can a practice go from being one of the best to one of the worst in such a short time. On numerous occasions I have tried to see a doctor .only fobed of with rather a phone call or seeing anurse practiconer who would either take a photo for the doctor to look at or even speaking to the doctor after to confirm what there diagnosis was . This cannot continue what's it going to take for the surgerys to go back fully to face to face appointments ?? I suppose it will be after some patients have died and become so I'll that something may be done which is to little to late
We have been with this practice for twenty five years and over that time have had to rely on them for advice and help having both had serious illness. This practice was recommended to us when we moved here from the coast.I can honestly say we have had the most excellent care.Unfortuneatly, due not to their fault, things started to change before the pandemic ,when shortage of GPS was starting to hit us.We expect too much from them,I have seen first hand,my Grandson's wife is a GP.She comes home from a full day and is then working till ten pm on patients results, letters. We should be blaming the government, if they hadn't given the GPS so much paperwork and targets to hit they would have more time to see patients.
