I go in and always polite it's nice they know you're face and get your prescription straight away.

My mum went to pick up an emergency sensor for her pump which had ran out, bear in mind these are essential for her to survive as she’s a type 1 diabetic. The male pharmacist spoke to her and made her feel bad despite having contacted the GP who then referred her to this pharmacy. He told her this sensor was the last sensor and that they were very expensive and what she had done is very wrong and that it will get noted that she’s gone about it the wrong way. My mum started to get very upset and plead her case in order to get the sensor, which again is very necessary for her to survive! The manner of which he said the device expensive was very inconsiderate considering that this is an essential medical device, other customers noticed this and proceeded to try and calm her down. This is very unprofessional as it’s a medical device that helps her survive and she required it as her previous one had a malfunction.

Shop was closed when I arrived. They have changed the opening hours on a Saturday. Was told by a member of Haxby doctors that they would close at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. This would have given me time after work to collect my prescription. Not happy.

A great experience. The male pharmacist was fantastic and very helpful. I didn’t have to wait long and he was able to prescribe an antibiotic cream to my daughter without a GP visit. Definitely recommend this pharmacy
