Fantastic shop go in weekly staff all really pleasant great sandwiches and amazing sweet treats that all all home made

Great shop. Rudest staff member. Not sure if the lady who was struggling to speak English is the owner but I would suggest she learns basic manners as customers can easily spend money elsewhere. Refusing to make a sandwich at 5.55pm advising your kitchen closes at 6pm (shop open until 7pm) and no advisory anywhere of this nor apology. I’d prefer to spend money in future elsewhere than have some rude women speak down to a paying customer.

On the strenth of the cakes daily on displayed on the counter, I ordered a 3 tier sponge cake for my mothers 90th birthday. When I picked it up, it had been sandiched together with masses of butterceam and jam and the top had buttercream rosettes all around and grated white chocolate filled in the void and when we cut it, it was really moist. My mum was delighted with it for 2 reasons. It was a moist sponge and had 'proper' butter icing. I would definitely recommend this cake to anyone and will order another in a heart beat.

The friendliest most accommodating shop i think I've ever been in. Superb staff, always happy to help. Their care for their customers (popping coffees and other delights out to customers whose mobility impacts their shopping) is so heartening to see. The homemade food is superb and the smell of cooking and baking in the shop make this one of those shops i remember as a child that was always a treat to go in. And their wine selection is superb and their knowledge and suggestions so welcome. I absolutely love this shop. And so many customers come in and they are on first name terms. This just tells me how important this shop and staff are to the people of Huntington 5 star 🌟 love it

Absollute pleasure to deal with. I collect my prescription every Monday, then pop in for my usuals (2 meat and potato pies). I really look forward to my weekly treat, as I’m disabled and don’t get out much. This shop deserves 10 out of 5, above full marks. Kind, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. If they can help, then they do. Amazing and a complete treat!!
