Great spot for dessert Everything tasted fresh and well-made, with generous portions and just the right level of sweetness. The atmosphere was cosy and perfect for a relaxed treat would definitely come back again.
Tried the loaded chicken fries from Double Up by Dukes. The taste was good overall — the chicken was decent and the cheese was nice and melted — but the portion size was disappointing. The box was only about half filled and could easily have had more fries for the price. Flavour-wise, it felt a bit bland. Most of what I could taste was the cheese, with very little seasoning coming through. A bit more seasoning on the fries or chicken, and an extra sauce option, would really help add more depth and flavour. What stood out more was the comparison with HFC around the corner. For the same price, their tikka loaded fries are completely packed and honestly hard for one person to finish, with much stronger flavour. Overall, not bad in taste, but portion size and seasoning need improvement to really justify the price.
Been here multiple times. Great desserts: ice cream, donuts, nee crumple, dubai inspired desserts, matilda cakes, old school style dessert, ice matcha drinks and more! They also have double up by dukes which are the toasties. Head down and try them out!
The food from the smash burgers, to the grilled cheese boxes and the donuts and milkshakes, everything was absolutely delicious and well worth the money. Where else can you get a burger, chips and a drink for £8.99? Will deffo be back!
I took a delivery from your store. I did like the burger and fries. Worth 5 stars till I saw this on my delivery box and lost respect. Simply put its like a bribe 🤦♂️
