I never write reviews regarding services etc, although i have to for this as I’m deeply concerned about the attitude of the staff hired on the phones considering they’re dealing with vulnerable people in society. I have never come across a more rude, patronising, sarcastic, cold member of staff, especially working as a receptionist in care. I’ve been with this doctors office for all my life, never had a problem, I call once in a blue moon, going years without speaking. I called this morning and Louise the receptionist answered the call, I told her I needed a sick note as I’ve had Covid and been bed bound, she asks me if I already have a sick note, I tell her no and she tells me I need to 7 day self certify. I tell her my sick note is for an appointment I can’t cancel and they require a sick note to be able to move this for me. She tells me she can’t as the doctors can’t prove I have Covid. I tell her I have a test I have done and if I send this in, can I get a sick note, she still says no. I tell her I have had a situation that has arisen in the past in which I’ve had to do this and I got my sick note, I was able to move my appointment, to which she replied “oh…so you do this often” attempting to patronise me. I told her we already established on the phone that I don’t have a sick note and no I don’t call often, I asked her if she had a problem. She was clearly taken back and flustered knowing she’d said something wrong, although with her tone and attitude, you could tell she had a problem the entire time. There are many kind hearted people in this world and it really concerns me that Louise has a role in aiding mentally and physically vulnerable people with the sour and patronising attitude she has, it’s genuinely uncomfortable. Even I feel uncomfortable calling the doctors now and not sure where to turn, that shouldn’t be the feeling I should get when I’m having to call services regarding my health. I have heard through numerous people that the receptionist is rude although I rarely call in and when I have, it’s been fine. Today was shocking, honestly the worst most rude service I’ve ever had anywhere and this is meant to be a doctors office dealing with peoples mental and physical well being. Very disappointed and concerned staff are fine speaking to people like this.

It’s now gone down hill big time. I’ve even tested this, you can call the receptionists and it doesn’t let you through and I’m sat in the waiting room watching them all have a chat. Hopefully someone takes over this doctors and sorts it out. It used to be amazing, sadly not now.

Once one of the best surgeries in Leeds but sadly since COVID it has probably dropped to one of the worst. You can't get an appointment no matter how hard you try. They don't publish any appointments on the website and patches is no use as they just move you from day to day. It's also annoying that people who work can have later appointments when they have them Yet some people get to pick and choose. I quote the receptionist the same time next week, Mrs. Jones ...

Who ever the abuse victim is you are referring to Joanne the in-house pharmacist. I have been having issues with my eye disability 3 years now and the way she speaks to disabled people is disgusting and not giving the correct prescription. Follows up by lies and no medical evidence but always remember your practise has a duty of care and if they don't it falls under medical negligence regardless if its a physical or mental health problem. Unfortunately Joanne struggles processing basic information, constantly lies and says i never said that when called upon, keeps saying we've been over this 10× but can't remember anything about it when asked. Doctors in the practise have been rude and said I don't have dry eye or eye disability but went private to get diagnosed and they still don't listen. Furthermore receptionists and doctors use the classic go to the hospital trick especially junior doctors but the hospital with do the same trick and say talk to your gp about it. This is always so they avoid work and their duty of care which they know is part of their contract and law. It has been a great pain writing this due to my eye disabilities but I'm not going to stand here and see other vulnerable people with physical or mental health disabilities be ignored and rude to

Brilliant drs wish I'd moved there sooner, they go above and beyond to help with any problem, staff are always polite from drs to receptionists and the pharmacist is also willing to help medication. I can't fault this surgery
