Right Let Leeds

I would recommend everyone to avoid this ‘letting agency’. At the end of my tenancy, the communication was extremely poor, they did not inform the landlord of key information and threatened me with deductions from my deposit. It took over a month to receive any information about the deposit (despite chasing) and when I finally received a response, the deductions were laughable. A £200 cleaning fee despite the property being in a better state than when I moved in. A charge for late return of keys despite no incoming tenants and the extra days being agreed by the landlord. I questioned this and asked for evidence of cleaning invoices etc; I never got a response. I had to open a dispute with the DPS to get my money back, funnily enough they managed to respond to that. Overall a terrible and hugely stressful experience which I did not appreciate when moving house.

Recently found my newest property with Right Let Leeds and couldn’t be more happy. Had amazing viewings with Dan and he was very informative on how everything went in regard to applying for the property. Very professional at the office too with clear instructions on signing up and paying deposit, glad to have Right Let Leeds on my side for my new property :)

Disappointing in the end. Had a great experience for the majority of my tenancy with communication and maintenance, however after verbally confirming our full deposit would be returned, they decided a month later to deduct a charge. After querying the legitimacy of this charge and stating we had photo evidence of the state we received the property and how we left it, it was quickly removed by Right Let/ the landlord. Overall disappointing a quick couple of hundred quid for a ‘light cleaning fee’ was more important than a loyal and happy customer. Future tenants - be wary of deposit charges and ensure to take photo evidence of how you leave the property.

We had a great experience with Right Let Leeds. The house was handed over to us in excellent condition—clean, well-maintained, and ready to move in. Throughout our stay, any issues were dealt with promptly, and the service provided was always professional and timely. Highly recommended!

My sister and I had a great experience with Tom. From the start, he was professional and clearly knew what he was doing and also very friendly and easy to talk to. We really appreciated how informative he was - it was very clear he cared about his clients and helped us feel supported. Thank you kindly Tom !
