D & J Motors

Had my car in the garage for over 4 weeks, asked to be communicated with if cost was over £700, the back door was stuck and latch had to be replaced, was a difficult job (also had full service and MOT, replacement of spring and headlight bulb), unfortunately I wasn't kept updated and ended up costing just shy of £1000. I feel bad leaving this review as they are so busy, they just didn't have the time to fit me in or communicate. When I called to speak to them, it was always polite, but I ended up feeling like I wasn't given any choices (ie being offered to take to another garage), and costs were not explained as the issues were occurring. Additionally, it ended up being over the Christmas period so sorting transport to see family costed more and wasn't offered a courtesy car or anything. If I had been communicated with more regularly, then I would be more understanding, but I was always the one chasing for updates, and then being told they would call me with more information, never got a call until it was ready, and didn't find out the cost until I was picking the car up.

Dilly et al have been looking after my Honda since the 5 year service plan lapsed in 2019. They always do a good job and are competitively priced. What I like most about D&J is the customer service and communication skills with their clients. Keep up the good work guys! I would recommend to anyone!

Couldn't recommend D&J Motors more for an MOT and service, especially as a young woman. Everything explained very clearly and more than happy to answer my questions. As with previous reviewers, I felt very comfortable using this garage and will return in future.
