Clarendon Wing, Leeds General Infirmary (LGI)

This is going to be a LONG review TRIGGER WARNING 1) I lost my little boy in December 2022 and unfortunately I had to wait until I gave birth to him, however the staff were absolutely amazing, reassuring me, keeping me company while I spent hours awake crying while my partner tried to sleep, Amy, Lynette and Amy p were absolutely amazing and I will forever remember them 2) when I had my daughter February 2024 I had to have an emergency section and I was petrified, however the entire team was amazing keeping me distracted and laughing with me. We had to stay in hospital for a week because my daughter was in high dependancy for a few days but the entire staff were amazing in every single ward we went to. Thank you for making an extremely tough time a lot more manageable

This 11th May went there for an MRI early in the morning. Everything is quite good on time started and finished as they said. The clinician was also cooperative several times He was asking are you okay? It's a great part for patients as I was a little bit nervous that day. Hope for the best outcome.Highly appreciated team Leeds Teaching Hospital.

My daughter had a small operation performed on her ear. The whole experience from beginning until the end was fantastic. All of the staff on the ward, receptionists, nurses, doctors, assistants, play staff, volunteers were all very attentive and friendly. They made my daughter feel at ease and every single one of them made the effort to connect with us and have a conversation. My daughter was a bit nervous at first but each interaction made her feel calm and happy. Thank you all for making us have such a warm and welcoming experience and thank you all for of the hard work that you all do.

Though I had an unproblematic pregnancy, my labour was not a piece of cake. I had to be induced and eventually was sent to the operating theatre. I would like to thank all the midwives and doctors in the midwifery unit and hospital ward for making my labour as painless and peaceful as possible! They were so friendly and professional during all those long hours; I couldn't have dreamed of a better team by my side. I kept smiling throughout the whole process. I would also like to thank the cooks who provided us with absolutely delicious food (such a varied menu!) in the postnatal ward. If I decide to have another baby, I know where to go!
