Once again, I was served by an young employee from this store who is characterized by a great willingness to work hard and a clear desire to streamline the sales process, without losing his charm and natural, unforced positive personality. Professional paint shop, big range of painting products mainly of their own brand Johnston's. Leyland and Zinsser range also available. The place is catering for the professional decorators who hold a credit account with the shop. Retail customers seem to be paying over the odds for the products. It's very very expensive if you don't have an account so think twice before buying.

I feel bad for not asking his name but at 2pm on 26/05 the gentleman that served me was very helpful, super knowledgeable and really friendly. Took the time to explain things to a novice and made me feel like I wasn't wasting his time with my questions and very little know-how. Answered all my questions with passion and enthusiasm. Also helped me carry my purchase to the car, excellent customer service.

If you're seeking a finish other than their vinyl matt, the sample pots won't be too useful. The acrylic durable matt comes at 2.5L in its smallest size and there are no sample pots with acrylic to test from. The colour varies widely between finishes as we've learnt with two colours now purchased. The vinyl looks a shade to two lighter than the acrylic so if you're trying to find an exact match, it might be more difficult. Wait times vary as there is often only one staff member handling queue of clients, preparing paint, and dealing with payment.
