Firs Farm B&B

Description

Firs Farm is a traditional early 19th century grade II listed Farmhouse, 3miles from Masham in lower Wensleydale. The small holding is the home of Richard and Sarah Townsend as well as, 80 ewes,a couple of horses, 2 dogs and various hens producing our own Eggs for breakfast.

Firs Farm Bed and Breakfast has two comfortable bedrooms both with window seats and south facing views across the valley. One en-suite with a king size bed, and the second bedroom with a super king/twin bed, has a private bathroom. Our guests have their own Sitting Room with an open fire and a door giving access to the garden. They also enjoy a high degree of privacy with a separate entrance and stairs to the guest bedrooms.

We are conveniently located for the Yorkshire Dales and the North York Moors as well as the Vale of York. Local Attractions include 2 Breweries Theakstons and Black Sheep, Ripon, Jervaulx Abbey, Fountains Abbey, Brimham Rocks, Middleham castle. We have 4 racecourses in the area, Ripon, Catterick, Thirsk and York. Local activities, walking, fishing, pony trekking, golf.
We are also very lucky to have a wide range of eating establishments in the area.
