This place is amazing. The village of Heptonstall is like stepping back in time. We went to visit King David's grave and we found it quite easily. Absolutely stunning place
This church replaced the earlier one , seen in the grounds. It is a well loved parish Church, used by the community. However , the walls are in some need of repair , and the inside is a bit of a mish mash of old and modern , which felt a bit soulless. If you are visiting Sylvia plaths grave then it's worth a look, otherwise I'd give it a miss.
Fantastic piece of 800 year old history located in the hills above Hebden Bridge.
Nice old village with cobbled streets and local walks also good pub food available in the village. Visit the church and remains of the old one too. I was doing some work at the church so a few photos from the church tower.
I had a drive up to this lovely old church as its not far from where my brother works. What a amazing place, tucked away in the beautiful village of Heptonstall. Such wonderful history our people in this country have. Well and truly worth a visit.
