What a great pub! Well busy inside and out but Barmaid clocked us as we came in and really good service Six excellent hand pulls and everything that my friends wanted to drink. Great atmosphere. Happy to come back here!! Thanks
Last time here was pre the terrible 2015 flood. By my rubbish memory it has been updated to a very high standard. Liked it before and like it now. Had my first pint of Theakston's Light Foot Golden Ale. Lovely. Good vibe. Still good in Oct 2024. Last visit was with Paulicarus so Icarus came this time and had a fine pint of Boltmaker.
Fabulous pub with a great atmosphere and super friendly staff with a great knowledge of the local area. Interestingly the pub is also serving as a film set for a new BBC drama currently being filmed. Definitely worth a visit!
Excellent pub, great selection of beers on tap.. HUGH selection of gin Big selection of whisky and whiskey Friendly staff, dog friendly as well.
Phenomenal, staff members Natasha and Kate were fantastically friendly and more than what anyone could hope for in a drinking establishment. A credit to their employers.
