Took a day trip to Hebden. Had a lovely lunch at Vocation & Co. Hebden Bridge. The grilled food was hot, well presented and quality food. I have a great service and the atmosphere was cosy. They have plug socket throughout the premises to charge your phone and great spot to work from. The table are spacious and allows you privacy if needed. I would recommend if you are traveling to the area and not sure where to go for food.
While we friends were in Hebden Bridge, we don’t wanna miss Vocation. So here we are. Great selection of their own beers and some from other brewers. Food wasn’t bad either. Good service and friendly staff. Lovely location. Well worth a visit if you’re craft beer lover.
This place used to be amazing but has been steadily declining for a while now. The main decline has been in the food where the once great burgers and loaded fries are now a shadow of their former offerings. Not only has the burger menu been cut back to add in a selection of pies but the quality of the food has declined as well. You are paying top prices for much worse food than other local places. The new pies, the Octoberfest specials have all been disappointing and while I still call in for a drink I have stopped eating there. They also seem to be getting more turnover in their staff and the service can be very hit or miss depending who you get served by. I'd love this place to thrive and have been coming here since it opened (I really miss the tacos) so hope they can get the quality of the food and service back to where it used to be.
Excellent selection of beers, mainly Vocation obviously but with a decent range of guest beers on keg too (20 keg lines and 4 cask lines in total plus cans in the fridge). Burgers were delicious and the staff were fantastic. Bit pricey but worth it overall.
A very nice brewery tap with a nice collection of cask and craft ales. The beer was lovely. The staff were lovely, friendly and informative. We had a (plant) burger and chips, which was nicely done and tasted delicious. A must visit along with the Fox and Goose for nice beer.
