Tried this restaraunt last week as changed from Pink Pepper. The open kitchen is not screened off. Hope not hiding anything The drinks arrived fairly quickly but took a while for yhe order and poppadoms to arrive. Tried tbe mixed starter as gives a good overview of all starters. The were all very tasty. The sheek kebab was good and a definite improvement. The lamb ans chicken tikka tasty and succulent. The onion barghi was tasty but a little soggy ans too much oil in it. The pilau rice was tasty and one portion enough for two We had the lamb kharai and chicken kharai. Ordered mild and slightly spicy. They were both very mild. So if ordering med as per menu. It is mild. The dishes were quite tasty. But just something missing. Not sure what. May be the spice being mild or the chicken non marinated. The tarka dall very good and plenty to go round for two. The chapatti was very good and not chewy. It is a big restaraunt and hope it succeeds. The food could be better but it is not bad. I am being constructively critical here. I would go again. Staff are learning and will improve. There is a blue badge space outside the door. But was permanently filled by a staff members car i presume as was there all night. Could be a great restaraunt and has a lot to compete with in Sowerby Bridge etc. The menu is much better than before and offers some interesting dishes which we will try

We celebrated Christmas Day and our wedding anniversary there yesterday - because it was Christmas, they offered a fixed menu --- either an Indian dinner or an English one. We chose the Indian dinner. It was excellent - might have not been spicy enough for some, but good for me. The service was great despite the crowd. They surprised us with an anniversary cake at the end of our meal. We look forward to returning and trying out the regular menu. Yes, we recommend!!!

Lovely Indian restaurant, the seekh kebab and chicken pakora starters were amongst the best I have had and that goes for the curries too. I had a lamb saag and my partner had garlic achari, both were very good. Staff were friendly and attentive and we didn't have to wait long to be seen to, the atmosphere is relaxed and you don't feel rushed like some places. Definitely worth a visit!

I have been searching far and wide for a really good Indian restaurant/takeaway and before tonight I have been constantly disappointed. I always order the same test dish- Rogan Josh, and tonight’s was exceptional! Very fresh chicken breast, light thin chapatti, crispy onion bhaji and very attentive serving staff! Highly recommended!!! I can’t really rate the atmosphere because I just picked up a takeaway on. Tuesday teatime. I know the building and it has good parking and great disabled access.
