Cal Faulds, take a bow. As a well travelled young man, I’ve visited many barbers during my time. But believe me when I say, none of them come close to this fine establishment. I’m not sure where to start with such a blinding business, so let’s cut to the chase - the haircuts. Simply sensational. I’ve never felt more comfortable with a man behind me and his hands on my scalp than when cal is behind me, cutting my hair. When it comes to the chat and banter, I’ve said it before and I'll say it again - I’d gladly pay £17 for the chat alone. Cal is a 24 karat character, a real team player. He’s zingy, zesty, full of passion for the trade and a genuine willingness to make his clients happy. So what are you waiting for? Amazing as always! I'm very particular about my hair and won't just go to anyone. I travel 10miles to get to Faulds to have my hair cut because they are the best barbers in town by a mile and very inclusive. Fully recommend

Took my 11 year old autistic grandson, who hates being touched, so it's a struggle having his hair done. Took him to Faulds as Carl was the first person to do his hair years ago, when he was about 6 or 7, and has never forgotten him so we knew we had a slight chance of the haircut getting done! Unfortunately Carl couldn't do his hair but another man said he would be happy too. Unfortunately, I didn't get his name, but what an absolute star!! He was patient, took every detail into account, talked to my grandson about his interests, and was straight with him. He asked his permission when cutting certain areas, such as around his ears, as he knew these areas heightened his anxiety and made him laugh when using the shaver rather than fear it. It took around 45 minutes to complete, and although my grandson fidgeted, squirmed from time to time, and constantly asking when it would be over, the guy never once got fazed, fed up, or snappy. He didn't judge or comment. He just did his job with a smile and the perfect attitude that we will never forget. My grandson has now asked for his hair to be done by the same person every couple of months, so it doesn't take as long as this time. So massive thanks, perfect service, highly recommended and top lads!! I do have photos of the end result, but due to his age, I do not have his permission to post them.
