Amazing service on my Golf R estate, had full service done with a Racing line stage 1 re map on the engine & gearbox. Would highly recommend the team at Insane, this is also a garage that will fault find and not just throw parts at a car to hopefully fix it, which is issues i have had with previous garages before. Great service from these guys and so helpful to have a local place who can undertake some of the specialist service items a lot of other garages pass on such as DSG / Haldex servicing. Very easy to deal with and clearly very knowledgeable about all things VAG. Service undertaken with minimal fuss, plus full inspection provided at the same time. Fully recommend and will definitely be using again the next time we need any works doing.

I’ve taken my car to Insane Automotive a couple of times now and have been really impressed with the service. The owners are really friendly, professional and knowledgable. I initially took it for a free health check which flagged a couple of advisory jobs. Before the jobs were completed, I was given a thorough run down of what they’d checked and the state the car was in. I felt under no pressure to get any of the work done. The work I have had done has been completed in good time and has also been good value for money. Their communication has been excellent and they’ve kept me uptodate as necessary. Very friendly, never pressured, knowledgable and decent prices. I booked an initial vehicle health check and they walked me through showing me the car on the ramp, and what needed doing. They helped me prioritise things that needed to be done now (DSG service) and other bits in future. Never felt pressured to go ahead with any work. I had water in the rear foot wells and they immediately knew of a common fault on my Golf MK7 with rear door seals and sorted it out. I appreciated this knowledge as another local garage could have racked up labour costs to diagnose the issue in the first place! Glad to have this local garage and shall be using from now onwards.
