On Reflection

Always an amazing experience with Vicki but particularly today's re-style for my autistic teen. Vicki has offered guidance and advice on how to achieve the desired re-style for my daughter, ensuring it met her expectations but also offered her options, in case she struggled afterwards with such a change. A perfect combination of undercut and choppy bob which can be styled in a fresh modern way but also more discreet for school. Vicki put time aside to ensure that my daughter was the main focus today and took the hair shorter in stages, checking in at each stage. Devon completed the style with a plait so she was party ready! We always visit Vicki for my cut/colour/highlights and it's always a great cut at a really reasonable price. She is always patient and understanding with however my daughter is feeling and will adapt accordingly to what is needed.

Cannot fault Vicki (my stylist) and her colleagues at On Reflection. Super professional but friendly atmosphere too. I have had all sorts of colours and cuts over the years but lockdown made me crazy and I bleached my hair….which then fell out! After growing it out for many months I sheepishly went to ask what they could do and could they make it blonde straightway. Vicki did a patch test (to be fair she said No immediately but did the patch test anyway as she’s a professional) and I was told a firm No! Fast forward circa 18 months and I now have past the shoulder length hair (had to cut it into a short pixie type cut myself at the time of my hair literally falling out in clumps) which is in fantastic condition due to the regular trims, treatments and gentle colouring. We are now at the stage where we can explore lightening but I’ve been told in no uncertain terms this needs to be done subtly and gently to keep my hair healthy. I completely trust Vicki and the process we need to follow and can’t fault her for her knowledge and professionalism…even if she wouldn’t bleach my head like I wanted! 😂

I went to get blonde highlights and they burnt my hair. They should do a test before they start the bleaching process. In the end they gave me a good cut, they didn't charge me anything obviously but after the first wash, my hair is dry, falls out and breaks every time I comb it...😭 They recommended me to buy a shampoo (instead of giving it to me) or get a moisturizing treatment. I would go to complain but I don't trust them anymore.

What great service and stylists Vicki is, so I coloured my hair myself 2 days before going on holiday and it went orange, rang on reflections got in with Vicki she soon sorted it out, lovely coloured toner and fantastic cut Would highly recommend the services was great, atmosphere friendly and great advise given on future colour option, I will never colour my hair again myself Thanks so much On Refections xx see u again very soon
