Katherine is the most experienced and amazing colourist and stylist i have every been to!! Great attention and care given to each client. International hairdresser with over 38 yrs experience and also name as Yorkshire Hair Salon 22/23! What a gem to find here in our Valley!! Highly recommend you check out both her salons!

I've been here for two haircuts now, and each visit has been an amazing one. Each time, I've had Cathy as my hairdresser. She is such a wonderful, comforting presence who really listens to you and works with you to get what you want. Not to mention she's also very skilled!! I'm sure the other two hairdressers are equally as great! The prices themselves are very good too! £24 for a 40 minute women's dry cut appointment is FAR cheaper than most other hairdressers of the same skill and quality. I travel an hour and 20 minutes on the bus from Burnley just to get here, so that alone should help to convey how good this place is! In a market full of untrustworthy and/or overpriced hairdressers, I would recommend this place to everyone I know!

Caitlin always does such an amazing job, before I started going to her I was so used to leaving different salons with hair that I was unhappy with and it made me dread every appointment, now I actually look forward to my appointments and always leave feeling amazing and pampered. She really listens and takes her time to make sure she’s doing exactly what you want and my hair is the healthiest it’s ever been. The atmosphere in the salon is so lovely and everyone is so friendly, easy going and so attentive. Any opportunity I get I recommend Station Eight, thank you to the whole team and to Caitlin in particular for always doing an incredible job!

Truly Excellent Service at Station Eight. I recently moved to the area and feel very lucky to have found Station Eight. I have never been happier with my hair than I am now, all thanks to Kathryn. Her skill, knowledge and care has totally transformed my hair. It’s the healthiest it has ever been, Kathryn’s attention to detail and genuine passion for hair is unequivocal. At one of my visits, I witnessed a very unpleasant experience that I feel needs to be acknowledged. A customer was incredibly rude and confrontational towards Kathryn while she was finishing my hair. The customer was so irate because Kathryn was not available at the exact time of her hair appointment. Kathryn had finished my hair 4 minutes later than expected. Kathryn remained calm, polite and professional throughout, despite being treated unfairly, handled the incident with grace and professionalism. Kathryn is welcoming, skilled and genuinely listens to what you want. To achieve this expertise would be very difficult to do if, us as customers are not understanding when delays happen. Before I moved to this area, my local salon was one that is known for its expertise all over the world, I have never arrived at their salon when my hairdresser had been waiting for me to start my hair, because that would be impossible if they are providing the total expertise as mentioned above. I expect this inconsiderate customer was very troubled on this particular day, I felt sad for her frustration over such a minor inconvenience and expected she would have rang to apologise when calmer. However I was shocked to see that her comments below offer no remorse whatsoever, which is extremely worrying. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Station Eight — and especially Kathryn — to anyone looking for a talented and down-to-earth hairdresser who genuinely cares about her clients. I'm so glad I found her. Must not forget Caitlin who is again very professional, welcoming and attentive to your particular needs. Does a fantastic blow wave, not had any other treatments but witnessed some lovely finishing results.

Always had great service from Kathryn at this salon, my colour has always been spot on to my request and met my expectations completely. The conditioning treatments are excellent for my hair which can be problematic (frizz control). Always been treat with respect and offered a drink on arrival by one of the team. Great salon experience all round 😀
