Mel is an absolute dream. She is kind, friendly, and easy going. Mel is an experienced and well established hair stylist. She is mega stylish and has such a good eye - I trust her to take the lead and the outcome is always bang on. I have long thick hair and a fringe and she always makes it feel lighter and easy to handle. Plus her new salon is pleasing to the eye and welcoming and she offers you nice brews and herbals! I’ve been going to her for years and so happy she is local to me now x x

I had another great haircut from the lovely Mel. The atmosphere in the salon is very friendly and welcoming. Mel runs the salon with sustainable values which is really impressive.

Mel is an absolute expert in her craft. She can do a precise and beautiful cut in no time at all. She also cuts my (male) partner’s thick curly hair and I’m always in awe of how she can do it without clippers! Mel creates a relaxed atmosphere and whether you want to chat or not you will be comfortable in her presence. I would highly recommend her cutting for male and female and for curly hair.
