Inside Out

Iain is delight to meet and his work is similarly a joy. Like other reviewers, I have found his work to be exactly what I requested and of high quality. He's very flexible and worked round our needs and foibles. I recommend him absolutely.

Iain came to paint mainly the outside woodwork of our bungalow, but also several "touch up" jobs inside, including making good a ceiling stain caused by a leak that now you can't tell was ever there. Absolutely amazing. He did an all-round fantastic job, prepping all the work, sanding down, rot treating patches on the soffits and fascias etc, which none of our previous decorators had ever done, and despite this thorough work, the job was finished early. We are very grateful to Iain for all his hard work and have no hesitation in wholeheartedly recommending him.

Iain was great start to finish! Grand job on full living room redecorating including ceiling that had been water damaged from a pipe burst. He talked us through the task in hand and kept us up to date with his progress. Great job, would highly recommend.

We needed a small old cottage redecorating, with its wonky walls and hard to get to spaces, which we also had a deadline for - non of which were a problem for Iain. He gave us his honest appraisal of the task, and what he felt he could achieve within the timeframe we had - and then he got stuck into the work. He is conscientious and thorough, and he takes pride in doing an excellent job - which is so good to see. Since the cottage, he’s done some other excellent decorating jobs for us. I would say Iain is a craftsman in his trade, and an exceedingly efficient one too. I can't recommend him enough.
