Rubbish. Still waiting to resolve probate over a year since my father died. No response to my lawyer and very poor contact. I have threatened them with SRA and The Ombudsman. Avoid at all costs.

When we decided to sell our house back in September 2021, we had no doubt that we would use Butterworths. As we had heard good reviews about thier work. We spoke to Emma Whitton on our first call and she arranged a quotation to be sent out to us for both sale and purchase. As this was the first time for us selling and purchasing Emma talked us through the whole process and helped us understand each step within depth. From September 2021 to the completion date 18th February Emma communicated with us frequently and gave us updates as needed. She made us feel at ease and took alot of the stress away, especially when we had two sales fall through so close to completion. She restored our faith and assured us that it happened often on the housing market. Overall the experience we had with Butterworths and of cause Emma we would highly recommend her and the company to anyone selling and or purchasing, and should we ever decide to move again she will be our first port of call. Emma is an asset to the company.

Over a year waiting for an uncontested probate. They don't respond. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
