Tried their summer drinks that were just awful (£4 each). Chocolate fudge cake did not taste fresh (tasted more like one from Aldi’s frozen section). Felt like a tourist trap unfortunately. The atmosphere outside was quite nice as people gathered around to enjoy the day

Friendly service. Bought a cold meat and potato pie and a hot cheese and onion slice for my dad. Dad loved the cheese and onion slice, he said it was a really tasty filling. No report on the meat and potato pie, but I have high hopes.

I really want to like this place. The variety is excellent, quality is great, and vegans/vegetarians are well catered for. Sadly, I have been shocked by how poor the service is whenever I go in. The young ladies working there would clearly rather be anywhere else and serving customers is obviously a chore for them as they sigh and tut their way through a transaction without a please or thank you. I’m a local, not a tourist (if the shop cares about keeping custom from locals, that is) - I’d love to return, but won’t be until I see someone more welcoming behind the counter.

I mean...the picture says it all. Proper grub! There was a decent queue as well, which is always a good sign (it moved quickly).
