The Remedy Wine Merchants

Cute little wine bar with a lot of selection but the customer service from one of the female members of staff left a lot to be desired. She was pretty rude and seem inconvenienced by us being there. The young lad who actually took our order was lovely though. We had 2 wine taster boards which are great value

My partner and I had a weekend in Hebden Bridge & we ate out both nights & ended up in the Remedy both nights after our meals, wine was excellent, the process was explained on the first night by one of the girls working there so we understood - the service was good & atmosphere was really good, we chatted to Andrew who was working there who made us feel really welcome and was such a laugh and really friendly. There were locals in there who also chatted to us. A really positive experience & we would love to return here with friends who we know would love it. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful!

A great choice of wines at very reasonable prices. Lovely staff member, friendly and helpful. Our dog really appreciated the treat she was given and we appreciated the bottle of Spanish organic wine which was delicious. Thank you.

Staff were lovely even if a little lacking in wine knowledge, the lady who runs the place however is enough of a reason never to return. Downright rude and could really do with a lesson in basic hospitality. A shame as the establishment has all the makings of a great spot for a lovely glass.

Great place to sit and chat, popped in for a glass of rose as I waited for my bus, ended up with a wine flight and a later bus!! Great conversation with the staff acting as hosts including all the customers sat around the bar, felt very comfortable to have a drink on my own.
