Top quality service at this shop, my cassette on my MTB fell apart mid ride over the moors so called in here in the hope they'd be able to bodge it back together for me to be able to get home. In the end managed to fit me a full new cassette at a very reasonable price all on short notice, highly recommend

Was bikepacking through on way to the Lakes, and stopped off for a stem adjustment. The lady was brilliant who took my bike in and asked the mechanic to give 10 mins to make the adjustments. Her knowledge was very impressive, she was very friendly and chaty. A keen MTB and route knowledge was very keen. Lovely shop with lots of nice goodies with a sofa to chill. I cannot remember the name of the lady but thank you so much for your help and friendly attitude at close of day. Must recommend for a visit and to pick something up for your bike or packing gear.

Thorough service from Matt, with the perfect amount of chat. He went out of his way to sort me out at the end of the day, when he really could have said sorry we are about to close. Can’t thank him enough

Earlier this summer Blazing Saddles built my new bike for me. I went into the shop beforehand a number of times to discuss the components and get advice from the staff. Everyone in the shop were really helpful. The mechanics are really skilled and experienced and I am very happy with the wheel-builds, the attention to detail and the quality of the work. They even taught me how to setup my tubeless tyres - which was really good for me but must have added time to their workload that day. This afternoon I went back in to get some advice about my brakes, the mechanics helped me and fixed the problem for free while a waited even though the shop was really busy. In the past I have bought my son's bike and helmets and components from Blazing Saddles. I always get good, honest and helpful advice. Their prices are competitive with big website shops and they have a decent range of stock. Blazing Saddles is also a great place to find out about the local biking scene, whether that's suggesting local routes or publicising events, there's also free bike cleaning stuff out the back as well. It's just a great local bike shop. Recommended.
