Couldn’t find a better shop more suited to me and my partner. Could literally spend all day here and we did spend atleast an hour today! So many gems, it’s so hard to choose between items. Rachel is also very welcoming and very patient 😂. We will be back ASAP!

Absolute hidden gem. Got a really nice selection of clothes. I got some ace levi cords for a really good price. Lovely lady that runs it too

Wonderful shop with an amazingly helpful owner. I spotted a fleece in there that I thought my wife may like. The owner put it to one side for me until my wife could call in and try it on. She loves the fleece and wears it all the time. Lovely place with a large selection of quality vintage clothes at great prices. Excellent customer service as well.

Wow what a great shop, been coming to Vinsportage since its opened and picked up some amazing items. The range they've got is incredible and restocked all the time! The owners sound as well she really knows her stuff and always stops what she's doing for a chat. Best vintage shop I've been to!

Bought a high-end waterproof jacket last weekend. I wore it once and found out it really was not waterproof at all- completely useless as a waterproof jacket. I paid £50. I asked if I could return it since it wasn’t fit for purpose but was told that I would only be offered store credit. This wasn’t explained at the time of purchase and the returns policy wasn’t posted anywhere visible for me to read while deciding. I’m disappointed because I wanted to purchase second hand to support a local business and reduce environmental impact but neither can I afford to lose £50 and receive store credit for another possibly defective item. Responding to your below points: my review is a true reflection of my experience here. I'm not clear how it can go aganst your returns policy when a. it wasn't explained at the time of purchase and I have the tag, the receipt and have worn it once to test if it was waterproof. I don't see how else one can test if the garment works as a waterproof? I agree I could also reproof the waterproof but this will cost me £20 (time and cost of solution) and so I had hoped you might take this idea into account and offer a partial refund to cover the cost of such. There was no explanation of the returns policy at the time of purchase: if I had known it was return for store credit only I would not have taken the risk since I only need a waterproof and nothing else at the moment from your store. I do want to support local business but the tone of your email made me feel as if I had somehow done something wrong, and it was clear that only store credit was being offered and there was no other recourse. Therefore this review is a direct result of an unresolved complaint.
