We come back to this peaceful valley time and time again and always stay in Nutclough Cottage. The owner is the nicest person and so very helpful with anything you need. Not that you need anything as the place is kitted out with everything you could ever need! And the shops are a short walk away down the bank. As well as some lovely spots to eat and drink. The cottage itself is a tranquil and quirky place with tonnes of character and charm. A stay in this cottage is a great way to escape the modern busy lifestyle, kick your feet up in front of the log burning fire and sink into the sounds of birds chirping and the river running far below. We are musicians and come here to write. The peaceful atmosphere of the cottage and surrounding area helps with creativity. We highly recommend it.

This is not a place to stay if you have any mobility issues steep road and entrance to property down two sets of steep steps already knew about parking issue but had to park quite a long way up what was a steep road also my mistake didn't realise bed is up against a wall so have to wake wife to get out or climb over her again no good if you have mobility issues bedding although clean looked awful on arrival it was so creased it looked like it had already been slept in for a week, the two leather chairs which have to be moved if you want to sit and watch tv are well past there best one of which sinks so far down it's hard to get back out,the flag stones are original and look beautiful partially covered by rugs but that also hides a couple of areas that are very uneven which again if a little less nimble it's easy to trip if not looking where stepping please note all said this is just our opinion and lots of other reviews are available

Absolutely stunning cottage. Exceptionally clean, has everything you need. So cosy and beautifully presented with WiFi and logs for log burner. It was so quiet and peaceful and a lovely place to get away, everything has been thought out so carefully inside the cottage, everything is to hand. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need .The spacious shower is a real treat and the bed is extremely comfortable. It has beautiful views over the town especially in the evening. Its situated close to town centre, just a short walk from all amenities, great pubs, food , fantastic chippy and lovely little town centre in itself. Highly recommended 👌

Our stay at Nutclough was a delight. Such a charming cottage with traditional features and perfectly located in a quiet location within a short walk of Hebden. Nic is a fantastic host with great communication and was really helpful to us when our plans had to change.

A superb 'hermitage', complete with books and a cosy cave-like feeling, a ten minute walk to the cafés of 'the San Francisco of England', Hebden Bridge. Parking is a little bit tricky, but so it is everywhere in Hebden Bridge.
