A waste of my time unfortunately. Took the time to travel down to the shop to find it closed although it states open.... I am sure there is a good reason for it being closed, but a waste of time and fuel for me unfortunately. BOLTON DIVE is the next stop on today's safari it would seem!
I went last week for a PADI reactivate refresher course. Communications we really great, as I had a lot of questions! The pool session felt really safe, with a very knowledgeable and friendly instructor. The loan equipment was of good quality, not the shabby leftovers I have used at some dive centres. Thanks all!
If you're interested in learning to scuba dive then Bill Painter and his wife Sally are just the people to turn to. They are so knowledgeable and are able to give you the best advice. I called into the shop and booked a try dive as I had always wanted to be able to dive. I was nervous to start with but Sally really encouraged me and is just the best teacher. I passed my first scuba diver course and intend to carry on. My advice GO, you won't regret it.
Absolutely amazing group of people, really friendly and welcoming. Did my first try scuba yesterday and really looking forward to do more dives with them. Sal is really patient instructor. Would highly recommend.
First went to Below the Surface in September 2016 as my son and I wanted to learn to Scuba Dive ahead of a trip to the Red Sea. From the moment we entered the shop in Hebden Bridge, Bill, Sally and the team have been fantastic. From the nervous first steps on the try dive, to completing our open water, everything has been done to the highest of standards. Can’t thank them enough for our scuba diving adventures.
