Waterside Gym

Great local gym. Good array of equipment. Especially kettlebells which I love. Clean. Not expensive and not pretentious. Would definitely recommend.

I was given the best possible induction in this gym I reckon, in a way that actually made me want to come back and I've now been a regular for 4.5 years. the new owners are great, really sorted the place out, it feels much cleaner and the layout is better. Not a commercial gym, but it is relaxed, very friendly and my go-to for serious lifting.

If you are looking for a good local gym in Hebden Bridge this is it. Value for money membership, good choice of classes. Staff and Instructors are all welcoming and friendly. It’s not a fancy gym, however, everything you need is there. The new owners have made improvements, new floor, equipment, bigger free weight training area. It is a pleasure going through this gym, great vibe. Highly recommend

Increased prices without notifying customers- rude and hung up on the phone when I complained and tried to cancel. Completely inappropriate to change prices with a cost of living crisis going on without letting people know properly and formally. Likewise in the past they they’ve changed their opening times and given no notification. When I brought this up that times and changed but price hadn’t, the management were defensive, unprofessional and rude. Completely no ability to deal with or meet very ordinary, very typical customer concerns. As you can tell it’s a small gym run by management with no interest or ability to provide or even understand good service. As a gym- half the treadmills don’t work properly or have the ability to even show what speed you’re running - a bit like having weights with no number on them. Useless. It’s a standard under equipped & outdated and cramped gym but at normal gym prices- avoid if you can. Zero interest in their own customers or meeting their agreements.

Great gym with good equipment, staff are lovely and helpful, really recommend 🙂
